THE OPPORTUNITY

The PowerPoint Designer sits within JCDecaux’s internal Design team. An energetic Marketing department working across disciplines of product, brand, content, events, insights, data and creative solutions. 

The role will see you develop, design, and conceptualise topics to visually articulate the JCDecaux voice: utilising your strong branding, illustration, and data visualisation skills. You'll interpret ideas and translate them into simplistic, compelling, best in class design layouts, building the design culture through powerpoint presentations to JCDecaux clients. 

 

Key Accountabilities:

  • Developing high-level creative concepts on brand and presenting concepts through Microsoft Power point, ensuring that they are rolled out to a high level of design.
  • Responsible for designing strategic visual responses in line with the brand narrative and deliver work that meets objectives. 
  • Support the production of presentations using the JCDecaux proprietary template (necessary training will be provided). 
  • Communicate with senior-level stakeholders to understand concepts and interpret them visually. 
  • Ensure work adheres to all best practices and style guidelines, unless otherwise specified and work toward 100% accuracy against style and brief.
  • Ensure all work is in line with JCDecaux Australia and New Zealand’s visual identity, communication is clear and thorough, and all work is completed with high attention to detail.

 

TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

You’ll have demonstrated experience in creative teams ideally within a media agency and have knowledge of the design and production process. As well as:

  • Bachelor of Design (Visual Communication) Degree or Diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or similar tertiary qualification
  • Highly proficient understanding of Microsoft PowerPoint and Adobe Creative Suite 
  • Experience designing across a range of different mediums 
  • A passion for design and creativity
  • A curiosity for new ideas and ways of doing things
  • An eye for print, layout, and typography design 
  • Strong attention to detail
  • You must be able to work efficiently and confidently under pressure within tight deadlines, independently and co-dependently
  • Advertising and marketing knowledge desirable
