THE OPPORTUNITY
The Insights & Strategy Specialist will see you create effective, story driven collateral to support short and long-term revenue opportunities. Delivering high quality output without supervision and develop strong internal relationships through frequent collaboration with other JCDecaux teams.
Key Accountabilities:
- Leads brief response meetings and WIPs (or supports junior members to do so)
- Developing ability to tell a story, drawing on a range of data and knowledge points
- Lead inputs into large or complex briefs, partnerships, agency presentations and marketing projects, and can work alone on these inputs
- Expertise in current data and insights tools, and establishes new ways of understanding audiences and revenue opportunities with these
- Can take increasingly complicated concepts and turn them into simple, compelling stories
- Leverages expertise in Insights tools to find opportunities for development and refinement
- Work with Specialists to Identify gaps in JCDecaux data and investigates solutions for these gaps
- Identifies opportunities for proactive Insights and leads the creation of collateral
- Produces primary research or desk research to support briefs and proactive collateral
- Plays a mentorship role for junior team members
- Potential for management of direct report (Coordinator, Executive)
TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
You’ll be someone who has a strategic mindset who has a strong eye for design & high-quality output. You be a comfortable and confident presenter who enjoys working with a cross section of stakeholders. As well as:
- Demonstrated experience in an insights/strategy role at a media agency, media owner or similar organisation
- Experience with media research tools such as MOVE, Roy Morgan, Nielsen or Emma desirable
- Experience with large datasets
- Qualitative and Quantitative research experience preferred but not essential
- Confidence in presenting complex data in a compelling and approachable way
- Client facing/ agency facing experience
- Powerpoint and Excel
