About the role:
In this role you will manage & support the Digital Print Department to achieve Productivity, Quality Control, Efficiencies and Workplace Safety. To maintain Colour Management, Work Flows, Maintenance, Data Sheets and communication between Print Production Manager and Dayshift Supervisor for advising Scheduling and Finishing Departments of any issues or changes to any procedures. This role can either be Dayshift (4am – 2pm Monday to Thursday) or Afternoon Shift (1.45pm to 11.45pm Monday to Thursday)
A Day in the Life:
Whilst there’s no typical day in the dynamic world of media, you can expect your role to involve the following:
- Maintain work areas are a safe environment and tidy
- Supply PPE ensuring zero harm to employees, safe workplace for employees, contractors, suppliers, visitors & public. Maintaining SDS’s.
- Support WHS & environmental compliance & sustain- ability initiatives. HSE: Zero LTI’s, EPA breaches and be proactive in environmental awareness.
- Responsibility of Systems in place for Digital Printers for output files to all print devices.
- Latest Software for Imac’s and Digital Print Rips
- Maintenance procedures in place to obtain maximum utilization.
- Procedures in place for checking of Studio and Print files Quality and Colour Management.
- Contribute to Team Performance
- Communicate with other Department Heads to provide up to date communication on any issues that arise
About you:
You’ll be a collaborative, team player who has experience in the printing industry, as well as:
- Digital Print & Software Products & Colour Management
- Working in Digital Printing Trade for 4 years minimum.
- Excellent Reporting & Analysis Skills
- Excellent Communication
- Self-motivated
- Strong Work Ethics
- Punctual
- Driver’s Licence
