About the role:
A 12 month maternity contract, this is a Senior Specialist position within the Operations department, reporting to the Head of WHSEQ ANZ.
It will see you leading the business through the rollout of a new WHS management system. This role will require the ability to engage with a diverse stakeholder group to facilitate the change management, and the ability to write with a high degree of technical competence. You will also be involved in fine tuning the business performance and monitoring, some small group training and the opportunity to participate in critical risk project groups.
A Day in the Life:
Whilst there’s no typical day in the dynamic world of media, you can expect your role to involve the following:
- Lead the development and implementation, the new WHS management system software
- Identify, and deliver WHS process improvements
- Consult with various stakeholders to support change management across the business
- Identify and deliver improvements in business WHS reporting and performance management
- Participate in critical risk improvement projects
- Assist in maintaining WHSEQ system accreditation
- Support the delivery of the internal assurance and audit programs.
- Keep up to date with and retain competency in legislative WHS requirements as they relate to OOH industry, and educate the business with legislative changes as required
About You:
- Experience in the digitisation of WSEQ management systems, or the delivery of safety specialist software
- Proven ability to implement and develop WHS management systems
- Knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 Management Systems and system accreditation audit experience (preferably leading)
- Demonstrated ability in:
- Internal Auditing
- Risk assessments
- Incident investigation including root cause analysis
- Training and education
- High standard of oral and written communication skills
- Strong ability to prioritise and work self sufficiently
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio
